VPF is a community of New Yorkers drawn from the non-profit, for-profit and government sectors throughout New York City. VPF Member-Investors are diverse and have experience in a variety of fields including business management, philanthropy, finance and nonprofits. All share a deep commitment to social change – and to having fun along the way.

Launched in early 2008 by Heather Rees, Founder and Chair, VPF is led by an all-volunteer team including a Board, an Advisory Council, and five Committees that directly engage Member-Investors according to their available time, interest and expertise.
