Grantseekers
Each year, the NYC Venture Philanthropy Fund offers a grant to an innovative, start-up nonprofit that is addressing a major social problem facing New York City. VPF members vote to determine the area of focus for each year’s grant. Past areas of focus for our grantmaking have included poverty and the environment. The grant consists of a cash award, as well as pro bono consulting services provided by VPF members.
2010 Grantmaking Cycle
In 2010, the VPF grant will be awarded to an organization working to improve education in New York City.
If you are interested in applying for a VPF grant, we encourage you to first familiarize yourself with VPF by reading through our website, checking yourself against our eligibility requirements and taking the 2010 pre-application questionnaire.
